The 2010 PA Conference on Character Education

The National Character Education Foundation (NCEF) hosted the PA Conference on Character Education on March 3-4, 2010. This day-and-a-half conference was held at the Four Points by Sheraton, Pittsburgh North, Mars, PA. We'd like to thank all those who attended, those who spoke, and all who worked to make the event a big success. Thank you!

PURPOSE
The Pennsylvania Conference on Character Education is designed to be informative, action-packed, entertaining, and geared toward assisting educators in their efforts to instill behavioral and academic excellence in today's shool-aged children.

Teachers, counselors, psychologists, school administrators, PTA/PTO representatives, juvenile justice representatives, community and business leaders, parents and legislators.

• Tom McGough is a former pitcher for the Cleveland Indians and the producer and director of the nationally sydicated radio show "Street Level" as well as the award-winning telecast "SPORTSWEEK".

Conference Keynote Speakers:

• Bill Sanders is a nationally known motivational speaker, contributuing author for the Chicken Soup for the Soul series, and creator of Rachel's Challenge based on the Rachel Scott Story following the Columbine tragedy.
